Please provide a few sentences to sum up the most important aspects of your App.

Book-O-Holic is a social network platform that operates as a virtual Book Club. The main goal for the app is to put avid readers in a book club environment to read and discuss forms of literature without any barriers. You can create public or private clubs to discuss your favorite books with friends, family, and people all around the world. The application is not limited to a specific genre of books, but has a vast array of literature one can choose from including, but not limited to, novels, character developmental books, as well as educational books! Book-O-Holic also has a Book Sale Club to buy or to sell your books to other members in the network. Book-O-holic is also a great way to meet new people who share a common interest in books that you enjoy.

Please provide a description of your App in 500-1,000 words. Be sure to include at least 1) what it does, 2) why people will want it (benefits), and 3) how you will sustain it (explain business model).

1) As mentioned above, Book-O-Holic is mainly used to discuss individuals' personal favorite book collections with other members on the network. The Home screen will feature a part that displays news, announcements as well as offers and the latest deals on books. The app will also have a “Friends Feed” where one can see what your friends are up to. You can see when a friend starts reading a new book, creates a new discussion, or see their recommendations. Aside from the Home page, the application will be divided into three sections. The first section is the Discussion Club, it is used as a forum for members to discuss their favorite books. It will also feature a private section to open up a discussion that is only accessible for you and your friends. This section will also feature a place to present the most discussed books for the week and will also recommend books for you based on the books you like. The second section is the Student Club. This section is essentially for educational books. It will also feature public discussions and private discussions. Private discussions will give members a chance to start a private study group that can help with students that are struggling with certain subjects in school. The last section is the Book Sales Club, which is used to browse a selection of books that members are offering to sell. You can use this section to sell your own books as well! The platform will have a smart rating system, the higher the rating, the more you trust the member to buy books from him/her.
2) The application will give a chance for members to exchange information about books with no limits. Book-O-Holic will eliminate all the distance between friends as everything will be through the network. The app will also be beneficial for students to start their own virtual study group where they can meet and discuss their school related work from anywhere with no distance difficulties. The Sales Club will help members sell their unwanted books rather then textbooks gathering dust from lack of use. It also gives a chance for members to buy used books if they do not want to spend money buying a new one.
3) The app is completely free to use for all members. The business idea behind it is to take every small percent on each transaction that occur in the Sales Club. Say someone sells his book for a 100 dollars, there will be a small fee of at most 5 dollars that goes to sustain the app. Another idea is to make a deal with primary booksellers (for example amazon, or kindle) and give members an opportunity to buy new/unused books from them. We can also feature the primary seller ads on the home screen once there is a new book on the market, or if they have any kind of special deal going on.
